What interests do you have outside of medicine?

Traveling, cooking and baking, gardening

What other job would you have wanted, if not the one you have?

Pediatrics have been my passion for most of my life and I have found teaching young physicians to be a gratifying task. This has been what I wanted to do since I was 8 years old!

What advice would you give to a new doctor just starting their residency or their career?

Choose medicine if you are passionate about caring for others and making them get better. Not if you want to make money.
