Primary care for underserved and marginalized patients, musculoskeletal medicine, office-based procedures, quality improvement, behavioral health, education

What interests do you have outside of medicine?

I like TV, cooking and eating, breaking and building things

What other job would you have wanted, if not the one you have?

I’d have been a failed (but happy) installation artist

What advice would you give to a new doctor just starting their residency or their career?

You absolutely do not need to know all the answers.

Practice responding to gaps in your knowledge positively, as opportunities to learn and improve, and practice seeking feedback as a way to discover those opportunities, even - maybe especially - in those settings where you are most uncomfortable.
